PLEASE NOTE: NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW DOGGY CLIENTS
Doggy Daycare covering Leek, Buxton, and surrounding villages.
We offer Doggy Daycare, which includes a FREE pick up and drop off service, within an 8 mile radius (greater than 8 miles charged at 45p per additional mile). As we like to ensure dogs get to know each other, and our visitors and own animals are comfortable and happy, we ask for a regular booking to ensure everyone remains familiar and relaxed. This is especially important as we have 7 cats, who are familiar with dogs, but to keep them safe also, we ensure that dogs who visit become familiar to them, which helps everyone to settle and become comfortable in our home.
Our Home Boarding service is available to our Doggy Daycare Customers ONLY, as our philosophy relies on our visitors and own animals feeling comfortable and relaxed with familiar faces, especially since we have 7 cats of our own also, aswell as 2 dogs. This ensures everyone remains comfortable and happy.
Doggy Daycare at £20.00 per day for one dog, with a 30% discount for a second dog**
Daycare is for a circa 6 hour period, with pick up between 09.30 and 10.30 and drop off between 15.30 and 16.30
Modern life generally means that dogs are left at home for long periods of time during the day. Whilst this is unavoidable, generally due to work commitments, your dog can still have lots of fun, with access to our fully fenced paddocks within our 10 acre field, to run and play in during the day, or to relax and unwind if they have a slower pace of life in mind.
We will pick up your dog from your home in the morning between 09.30 and 10.30, and return them between 15.30 and 16.30 Their time at Peak Pet Services will include walks in our fields, including off lead time (with prior permission), playtime, relaxation and quieter activities, supervised free access to our fully fenced paddocks within our 10 acre fields, and medication or injections being administered if required. All walks, playtime and offlead time is conducted on our own private land at all times, as we have plenty of space available, and this ensure we do not meet other dogs on walks.
This service is focused on providing a "home from home" environment for your dog, with constant company, who will socialise with our own two dogs, (Bedlington Terriers), whilst being a part of life with our other pets, which includes our 7 cats also. Therefore, this will suit a dog with an even temperament, who is well socialised with cats, or is calm enough to be introduced to cats, (and has a low prey drive), who is not aggressive or unpredictable, and is not faced with anxiety issues, which could result in excessive barking inside. Your dog must also be neutered if old enough.
Whilst we would love to be able to accomodate all dogs, as we are a home boarding establishment, our own pets, and the welfare of the ones we look after is our priority, and some dogs find an environment with small furries too stimulating.
We keep the house as a calm, safe haven for all of our pets and visiting dogs, with physical energy used on playtime outside, mental stimulation activities, such as sniffing and scenting, aswell as a wide variety of toys to suit your dogs needs. Inside time is quieter, calmer, and is used for undisturbed rest, mealtimes, mental stimulation activities, and general "chillout" time.
Home Holiday boarding for current Doggy Daycare Customers only at £25.00 per 24 hour period for one dog , with a 30% discount for a second dog**. Part days are charged on a pro rata rate.
Please bring items familiar to your dog(s) if this helps them to settle, such as a bed, lead, brushes, and medication if required. Otherwise, we are happy to supply, beds and we have plenty of toys for your dog. Please provide all food required for the duration of the stay. We are happy to accommodate raw feeding requirements and have freezer and fridge space for this.
Both Services
**dogs must live at the same address, and belong to the same family
For any urgent vet visits due to illness or injury, a charge of £10 is made to cover the visit, within an 8 mile radius of Peak Pet Services. Any additional mileage is charged at 45p per mile
You will need to visit us for a familiarisation session with your dog, which is essential before a booking is made. This is to ensure that I can adequately make a decision as to whether your dog is a good fit for our services, when I have assessed their personality in person, based upon the answers to the pre-visit questions, taking into account the current dogs we already look after, our own two dogs, and the safety and comfort of our 7 cats.
