Reliable Petsitting in Leek, Buxton and surrounding villages

Why Choose Peak Pet Services?

Whether you're on holiday, busy at work, or just need that extra bit of help, Peak Pet Services has been providing a professional, caring and reliable pet sitting service, for cats and small animals since 2014.

Your cat or other small animal can then remain in their own home, and in an environment which they're used to.
This is especially important for cats, who are extremely territorial, and find being moved from their familiar territory, an extremely stressful experience, which can contribute to any pre-existing health conditions they may have.

We pride ourselves on a very high standard of care offered to cats, understanding their needs, routines and behaviour, through lifelong cat ownership. We are
especially considerate with shy and nervous cats, helping them to feel comfortable in our presence, with a kind, patient and calm approach.
As it is only Claire or Ian that completes cat visits, we look to build a relationship with your cat, on their terms and at their pace, which is why Claire is fondly known as "the cat whisperer" amongst friends.

We have 4 cats of our own, from pedigrees to rescue moggies, so are very experienced and ardent cat lovers. We have dealt with many medical issues, both past and present, including heart disease (requiring medication), kidney disease (requiring medication), diabetes (requiring twice daily insulin injections), and asthma (requiring an inhaler).

We are also experienced small animal lovers, as we have previously been owned by a corn snake, tortoises, hamsters, gerbils, cockatiels, budgies and tropical fish. We also have our own small flock of chickens.

We live in a rural location in the hills between Leek and Buxton, and we know how difficult it can be to secure pet care in less central locations. We therefore are happy to service the areas of Quarnford, Upper Hulme, Gradbach, Meerbrook, Blackshaw Moor, Thorncliffe, Bradnop, Bottomhouse, Ipstones, Onecote, Warslow, Hartington, Axe Edge, Glutton Bridge, Longnor, Hollinsclough, in addition to our usual areas of Leek and Buxton.

We now offer an evening sitting service, which would suit those on holiday in the area with dogs, who wish to go out for an evening meal, and are unable to leave their dogs alone, in holiday accomodation.

Cost

£12.50 for a 30 minute visit
£16.50 for a 45 minute visit
